This weekend, my wonderful friends Amy & Karen threw me a shower in Seattle. I was so lucky to be surrounded by so many friends and family (my mom, sister & 2 of my sis-in-laws, Hilary & Laurel came too!) to help celebrate. I had a blast!

Baby and Bowser
Baby and Bowser is the title of a book on loan from our friends Tony and Kelsey. Reading this book has resulted in a much increased paranoia from myself regarding dog-baby interactions, and one of the recommendations is to play "baby crying" sounds for the dog to get used to. Olive's reaction to this beautiful "music" (available on itunes for only $.99), could only be summed up as "Whhaaaa?" (head tilt, quizical expression, etc). Erich walking around the house with a baby doll probably explains a similar reaction from Deepa :).
