Baby and Bowser is the title of a book on loan from our friends Tony and Kelsey. Reading this book has resulted in a much increased paranoia from myself regarding dog-baby interactions, and one of the recommendations is to play "baby crying" sounds for the dog to get used to. Olive's reaction to this beautiful "music" (available on itunes for only $.99), could only be summed up as "Whhaaaa?" (head tilt, quizical expression, etc). Erich walking around the house with a baby doll probably explains a similar reaction from Deepa :).

Um, did we forget to mention to you that we only read a couple pages of that book, got stressed out and put it away? There's too many new things they say to teach your dog - we prefer to be more spontaneous! :) That's why our dog is so perfectly trained...
