The deck is coming along! These photos are somewhat outdated, but it is so close to being done. While the foundation was being laid, we put the kids' handprints in the cement. They seemed to like it.
Earlier this month, we headed down to Medford for some sunshine. While we were there, Erich and I took a roadtrip down California with a stop in San Jose (to have a very fun, but unfortunately not photo documented, visit with my cousin Aditi and her family!) and then to Paso Robles for a weekend of wine tasting. Erich had meetings along the way, which was the main reason for the trip, so we left the kids in good hands at Nana and Papa's and enjoyed our mini vacation.Sonia and Neal attended preschool all week, and Sonia participated in her very first play - The Hungry Caterpillar. She was the leaf and with only one day of rehearsal, did a great job!! But most importantly, the kids got to spend the weekend with their AshPat cousins and had a blast!
Once we came back, we were thrilled to throw a baby shower for our dear friends Ernie and Karen, who are expecting thier first baby this August. It was fabulous! And we have all since fallen back into our routine. Note the pictures where Sonia and Neal insist on wearing bindis.
