Road trip to Medford

We spent this past week in Medford, while the kids were on spring break. All TEN AshPat cousins were there, so that was such a treat.
The kids and I went to lunch at the Country Club with Grandma Sweetie one afternoon.

We even had one sister-in-law night out to dinner - so much fun!!

We did not come home empty handed - instead, we came home with two bear statues from Erich's dad...they'll actually look pretty good in our backyard!

Baseball with cousins

Baseball season has officially kicked off, which makes Erich very happy. This year the opening game for the Mariners was away - but we still got into the spirit by attending the Mariners' open house at Safeco Field. They debuted their brand new, enormous video screen and played the game on there while so many fans watched, ate hot dogs, drank beer (only $5!) to get in the spirit. We were lucky to have Uncle Matt, Aunt Diane and Bradley and Spencer in town - and we met up with Nathan and Peter too - so it was a fun cousin event.
This giant tub of popcorn only cost $10 - and had UNLIMITED refills. With 6 kids, you can imagine how many times we had to refill...

Easter

I've been a bit slow on updating the blog in recent weeks because we have been BUSY! Busy with Easter, lots of visitors and a bit of travel too.

For Easter this year, we held an Egg hunt and Sugar Egg decorating party in our backyard. The weather cooperated and we enjoyed 70 degree weather with many of our friends and family. Nana and Papa came up to visit, and while they were here we enjoyed time with Hilary/Billy/Calvin, Hilary/Richey/Nathan and Peter and Auntie Lolo too! What fun! Here are some pictures from the fun weekend.
Patiently waiting to start this year's sugar eggs.

 And....go!

We had 11 kids in total at our party - aside from Sonia and Neal, we had cousins Calvin, Peter and Nathan, and good friends Reilly, Ivy, Gracie, Eli, Carmen and Xander. The hunt was a success - lots of candy and happy children. Not sure what the parents reported after they all went home on a sugar high...

 Calvin's first Easter egg hunt!

Easter morning brought lots of fun surprises...
...and lots of candy and goodies!

Cousins at church - another sunny day!

Happy Easter!
