M's game

Sonia and I went to the Mariner game the other night....even though the Mariners lost, we had a great time. Sonia got a foam finger, and really enjoyed the funnel cake! In a milestone, I started explaining all of the rules of baseball to Sonia. There wasn't a test afterwards.

Memorial Day = Rain

I read a statistic that for the past several years, it has rained all or during some part of the Memorial Day weekend. This year was no exception! Yesterday was a WET day - full on showers with no break. However, we proved that we were true Pacific Northwesterners and visited the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium after we dropped Ammamma and Tata at the airport. It was awesome - and empty!

Ammamma and Tata's visit

Ammamma and Tata came to visit for a week and we had so much fun! Unfortunately, I came down with a stomach bug during their stay (which I sadly passed along...) but we were lucky to have the extra hands since I was down for the count. Regardless, we had so much fun - going to high tea, Costco...the usual :) And the kids loved that they were indulged in their favorite obsessions - pirates, dinosaurs, princesses, and books!.

One day, Hilary, Calvin, Ammamma, Sonia & Neal and I went to high tea at the Queen Mary Tea Room. I've always wanted to go here but needed an excuse! We had such a great time!
