Aloha October!
The three of us spent a week enjoying Hawaii in early October.
We celebrated Deepa's 30th, met Sonia's cousin Ananya (in Maui of all places!), visited friends John, Juli, and Te'ara, and did our best to relax. And the best part was - when we checked into the Westin in Maui, they upgraded us to their "Imperial Suite" since we were celebrating Deepa's birthday. Our suite had 7 separate balconies!!
Sonia loved Hawaii, and was sad to leave. We'll have to go back soon!

Family trip to Sunny Medford
We all (including Olive) drove down to Medford, where we spent the last 10 days visiting Erich's family - and saw grandparents (even Deepa's parents came out for the weekend!), and met her great-grandmother, new aunts, uncles and cousins. Sonia had a great time being spoiled by everyone - and we took advantage of all the babysitters and went out to dinner one night. Everyone was happy!
