1st Haircut

In honor of Neal's first birthday, we decided to follow Indian tradition and shave his head. Our little fuzzy-headed guy didn't really enjoy the process, but big sister sat by his side and gave him stickers until it was done. What a team! Here are some pictures of the play by play:

Birthday Week In Seattle!

Whew. With only three days between Sonia's and Neal's birthday, the 3rd week of July is going to be a hectic one for the next 15 years or so! This year we had two sets of Grandparents in town, and Amamma and Nana came in early since we were traveling. But, as is tradition we went to Red Robin for Sonia's birthday. On Sunday, Neal had a family dinner at Ivar's Salmon House, and in between we had a gala at the Little Gym with a pizza party afterwards. Needless to say, the r&r has now begun... but it was a great week for everybody. The weather was perfect and the kids were ecstatic. They have been playing with all of their loot all week!

Happy 4th of July!

Summer has finally arrived in Seattle, and we've been taking full advantage. The kiddie pool is out, and we've been grillin' in the back yard. This sounds like a good plan for the next two months!


We've also had a bunch of visitors lately, and Doddama and Uncle Scott came for the weekend. We did a day trip to Bainbridge Island and had lunch at Doc's, which is down by the docks. Add that to a bbq at the Gallagher's and overall it was a great 4th of July. (Although I'm disappointed we didn't get around to doing the family play...)
