Aunty Beanie's Baby Shower

All of Sonia's AshPat cousins made it down to Medford, as the ladies had a shower for Aunty Beanie and the family's newest arrival. We can't believe that Sonia won't be the "baby" anymore starting in February... but she's ready to be one of the older kids.

6 Months already?!!

This week, we celebrate Sonia's 1/2 Year "Birthday" and did so in style... Sonia got to eat sweet peas, rode around in her stroller like a grown up kid (without a car seat), and- the coup de etat- got her ears pierced! Yep, both of them. Jennie at the Northgate Mall Claire's was a pro, and so was Sonia. But, her parents were a little nervous. After about 10 seconds of crying, though, Sonia was back to her happy, smiley self!

Yummy Food

Sonia can sit up by herself and has started eating solid food! And she loves her new highchair (great Christmas gift Ammama and Tata!) When we realized that she watches us eat our meals with such determination, we knew that she was ready for the rice cereal. Day 1 was hilarious and we're not sure that any of the food made it into her mouth, but by day 2 she was a pro and finished the entire bowl! We are so proud.



In addition to eating, Sonia has become quite the dancer. Check out this video of her dancing to her/my favorite star George Michael!

We have had quite a bit of snow these last few weeks, so we figured that we'd include a shot of our very neglected dog , Olive, frolicking in the snow to remind everyone that she is not forgotten. She loved it.
